When ever i get into a small firefight my game...

When ever i get into a small firefight my game slows down. so when i try firing my mauser it takes about half a second to actually fire(dont use mauser it sucks). but the graphics are very good...

i finally got the demo but when i start to play i cant see my weapon. whats going on. it doesnt work for both the allies and axis. does anyone know how to fix it. all i see is crosshairs.
