It's strange really, how different continents have completely different buying sense. I'm at a loss as to explain why the GC is selling so well in Europe and the US. I doubt most the figures you've read take into account the amount of returns though wink: I think alot of people have got some buyers block against Microsoft products. To bad really, because the Xbox is a really great machine, far exceeds the PS2 in every possible way (except for game quantity, a point I totally agree with you Gerard. Most PS2 games are shit, I was going to put that in my last post but left it out for some reason.).

I'm sick of ports too. Most ports are of crap quality and should never have been started in the first place. If they are going to do a port of a PS2 title to the Xbox or GC, then they should bloody well take the time and use every little ounce of graphical and "CPU" power the better consoles have to make them look and play and perform better. But I guess thats where lazy developer syndrome kicks in. hake:

I guess I'm in the unique position where I dont need to purchase titles to play them. I can take them home and try them out, then return them. Ofcourse, every item I do take home is as much for entertainment value as it is for knowledge, and is always treated like 15th Century artwork. Sadly I've become quite jaded as far as games go these days, especially PC titles. Very bland at the moment.
