I was saying that the pacifist approach of 'negotiating peace' with aggressors doesnt work. It didnt stop hitler, it wouldnt have stopped the n vietmanese, and it definately wouldnt have slowed down huessein. BTW we didnt invade either of those countries, we were working to stop the invaders.
Obviously, WWII was not soley britians fault. It was the harsh penalties imposed on Germany by
ALL the victors of WWI that made the situation ripe for a personality like hitler to emerge.
Personally, I have no beef with the British, they are one of the few contries that will always stand with the US, not just when it is convenient.
