I have a comparable system, man. MOHAA used to lock up on me too. Try running it in a window by hitting Alt + Enter. That way, if it DOES lock up, you can smoke the window without rebooting.

Spearhead, surprisingly, doesn't lock up like AA used to. *shrug*
