Having a pc that has to run case open is kind of like having a house with wheels. :P

My case fans speeds can be adjusted by a knob. I can also replace the knob with a thermal sensor that will increase/decrease teh speed based on the temp. I prefer the knobs as I dont think the thermal sensors do a good job.

If you plan to Overclock, you need a mobo that can tell you your cpu and case temps. Knowing your fan speeds is nice too.
