The reason why we are going to war is because Saddam is a liar and an evil dictator who kills his own people and poses a threat to the United States and his surrounding countries. The reason why oil prices are going up is not because of Iraq, but because of Venezuela. Venezuela is the third largest oil producing country in the world and they have recently been going on with strikes in the oil business, these strikes have halted the oil coming out of Venezuela and to America. If we wanted oil so bad, we could just go to Venezuela.

SOmething to make more sense to say would be: "The French DON'T want war because of oil" because they stand to lose tons of money if we attack Iraq.
