I tried it, honestly, I did. But too many maps are unplayable for me (and I'm not paying more money to upgrade my machine again) the but-scoot thing really gets on your tits fast and there isn't enough servers on ASE to keep me occupied.
The runspeed isn't really something that bothers me (although I think I witnessed this machine whore mod - the auto weapons have 80 rounds per clip and are ultra powerful, right? The worst mod I ever played - the rifles haven't been touched - pants) so it's just the maps really.
Take out the scooting and the laggy maps and mods and I'll play it gladly. There just isn't enough options out there. |

The mod im referring to goes by yhe name of ckr which is mainly for allied assault. Basically this guy labelled it a "realism mod", in reality all it did was make the B.A.R and the stg-44 super accurate and powerful over range, you can actuallly use them as sniper rifles on most maps. While at the same time he crippled the shotgun and the sniper rifles by giving them slow as hell reload speeds.
It was the first "realism" mod for moh so everyone took it as the word of god and swore by it even though 99% of people in servers running it were no talent mg whores which was made ven easier by the fact that the mg's were now the ultimate weapon in the game because of him tooling around with them. I played it a few times and as soon as i seen what he had done it put me off it right away, last i checked in ww2 there weren't too many stg's and B.A.R infantry that could pick you off with a single round at around 2000 yards. oOo:
