Which base? We have two bases in Edmonton. Naimao and Garrison. Naimoa base is a little smaller and is actually in the city. Garrison is actually by my house and is about a 1 minute drive from edmonton. it is placed out there because there is an airfield there too. |
Garrison. I used to live in a small town called Whitecourt, we're only 2 hours from Edm so when we used to go there every two months or so for parades and other cool stuff. Oh, and anybody who says military food is crap oughtta eat in the caffeteria there.[/quote:544c6]
Innoxx is right, I stayed a few days in barracks at CFB Esquimalt on Vancouver Island when I was in scouts, the food there was quite good.
