The generator was owned by the 3 sets of buildings for use whenever a typhoon hits and cuts off the electricity. It is worth over 200,000 NT$ (gets a calculator) that's about 5,752.09 US$.

Not really worth the trouble I'd reckon. Rather break into a house and steel their money, because people here don't like to use banks.
