the PPSH-41 had twice the range of the various 9mm SMGs and it was more reliable.
(sort of like the P-90 compared with modern 9mm SMGs, same principle smaller round, longer barrel)


Ever hear of the T-34 series? R. Lee Ermey himself said they were probably teh best all-round tank of WWII, and you don't talk back to the Gunny biggrin:

Actually during the Finnish Winter War the T-34 and PPSH-41 didn't even exist.
