Notre Dame is deep in college football traditon. They have always played a
difficult schedule. Yes it is about money. They have an exclusive contract with NBC worth millions every year. All their games are televised and they don't have to share the TV revenues with other conference members. They
get it all. Plus they have an exclusive loop hole with the BCS. If they win X amount of games they are garunteed an at-large bid to a major bowl. They
