4 years of winning the cup doens't make a team (as a whole) the best team ever. Oilers are not even close to being said that.
At the time the team could be considered one of the best esembled teams. But overall, Oilers haven't had enough winning teams to be considered the best team ever. That would go to Montreal then Toronto then Detriot.[/quote:02401]

The 1984-1985 Edmonton Oilers would've beaten any team from any era...present day, old school...doesn't matter. The fact of the matter is, they were the best team to ever lace 'em up. Period.
