Mainly for a couple of reasons. We run the ball and go for tries.

England values the penalty and drop goal. Australia, NZ, South Africa and France all go for the tries. This makes for much more exciting rugby.

If England wins it will be a huge backward step for rugby if they play like they did against France.


Oh yeah about that comment about us kicking penalties. Firstly, both teams scored a try apiece. Our penalties were within kicking distance which was the difference. I think Australia only made one attempt at a drop goal. Wilkinson kicked drop goals all night - boring as shite. The reason we kicked penalties is because the defence of both teams was too good. Both of the tries were either against the run of play or in broken play.
Also, England's kicking game is seen in the game they played against Wales. 3 tries to 1 and the team that scored one try won hake:

Meh...I agree with hardly any of the opinions in that. Honestly can't be bothered arguing my side in them, because they hold no weight.

Well, the only NZers you've been speaking to must obviously have something to do with Australia....Because most of the people I've been speaking too, ALL NZers, would rather see England win the cup as opposed to Australia....

I think I would know more than you about what NZers think. No question.
