One wireless router will suffice. Your cable modem will connect from itself to
the WAN port of the router. From there, you can either get a wired or wireless
NIC card and configure the systems appropriately: your router will create the

The OSI is just a model of how data is encapsulated for travel across
mediums and the proper way to re-assemble it. I'm rusty but there's
not much to it...
