My vote is up in the air at this point... I have a few key things to consider:

Fiscally speaking, I think the Republicans have it right, I'm afraid that if John Kerry gets into office, I'm going to be taxed to shit. Unlike ktog3, I don't want national health care or any unnecessary social programs. If I can afford my own health care, good for me. Yes, I'm that filthy of a capitalist pig. Oink Oink.

Security wise, I'm not sure who is going to do a better job. I think we need more diplomacy and less of the "shoot first ask later" mentality. I'm concerned if GW Bush is elected we'll be starting another war soon, which also has a potentially negative effect of the economy. However, I think our nation is at a very high risk for terrorist attack; even though 9/11 was 3 years ago, it still happened, and a lot of good innocent people died. I don't ever want to see anything like that happen again. Bush has prevented it for a few years, but I fear that he may just be pissing off the terror groups even more.

In regards to Foreign Policy, I like GW Bush's conviction; some says its a symptom of being stubborn or bullheaded. I disagree and think it is a very respectable thing to take such a firm stance. If he were to back down or change his mind, it could be considered a sign of weakness. However, being a "strong defender of freedom" may not be the best thing for our nation. The economy is quickly becoming global. If we force other countries to be "for us or against us" we can disrupt free trade and hinder our ability to grow.

I guess in a nutshell, I am afraid that Kerry will drive us into tax driven inflation hell (think Jimmy Carter) and Bush will steer us into Rome-esque war mongering. Which is worse? I don't know. I like Bush's character much more than Kerry's, except for the diplomacy thing. Ohh what a choice; God Bless America!
