WWE are the masters of fucking up storylines a chimp with no clue could put together.
Buying wcw they had the invasion storyline, it blew badly. They had maybe one big name from wcw (booker t) and the rest were mid card muppets noone cared about. For that to have been a success they needed hall, nash, hogan, goldberg, flair, sting and any other recognisable names from wcw. But nope, they bought them out and steamrolled into a storyline that was at best halfassed.
Then the nWo storyline, yet another story that should have basically made itself but nope, they have austin beating up on 3 nWo guys singlehanded making them look stupid.
Best times were the monday night wars, from around 96 onwards when there was a choice, watch wcw or watch wwf. Now its basically watch wwe or nothing. oOo:
