because you don't follow the "ten commandments" (on purpose) you're sinning to a point where you don't even care for forgiveness from God. The Sacraments are there to be used with faith.

Don't bring up any of the inquisition crap. That was long ago when the church was just total bullshit. The Church admits its faults and doesn't deny anything that has happened back then.

I'm going to make one of the most retarded analogies, but i think it may prove a point. If you're going to make yourself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, you need both the peanut butter AND jelly. Right now, you're just putting on jelly and forgetting the peanut butter and calling it a full PB and J sandwich. To call yourself catholic, you have to atleast follow the guidelines of "keeping the sabbath holy".

I'm done talking about religion and politics with SH. I quit the politics a little while back and it seems to be turning out well.
