It was absolutely, but comparing events over 60 years apart, during the most hectic century in the history of the world is just stupid. The world was an entirely different place back then.

I don't see how last century was all that hectic compared to like the 15th and 16th centuries. Most people couldn't afford to live, the black plague stuff, constant religious wars, huge empires that own way more of the world than america thinks they own now.
You're nit-picking and taking the argument off in a tangent, that has nothing to do with what we're talking about and you know it.

But all address it regardless......Think about how many people there are in the planet 1900 - 2000 as opposed to the 15th or 16th centuries.....Think about the industrial revolution. Think about the first two WORLD wars. Think about the technoogical advancements we've made. It was a hugely busy, hectic century is what I'm saying.
