I remember some tech support story site from a while back, all the weird tech support calls different companies received. One that sticks out in my mind is some woman calling because her pc isn;t working, just won't turn on. Guy goes through all th trouble shooting etc and still no luck. He goes to arrange for the pc to be replaced and asks her to write down a phone number, she asks him to hold on and disappears for about 2 minutes. She comes back and apoligizes for taking so long but she couldn't find a pencil because they had a poweroutage in the whole neighborhood.
