It's a God damned shame what happened and continues to happen over there. It's got to be frustrating to no end leading a multi-national peace keeping force comprised of who knows what. I'm slightly amused that the Clinton Administration was faulted for not doing anything. I mean one minute people don't want the US involved in this kind of shit and the next we are faulted for not getting involved. I guess I'll have to concede that the US should have done something while 800K people were subjected to these atrocities. Too bad that the people charged with preventing this kind of shit were too busy feathering their nests with the Iraqi oil for food fiasco. The UN is a fucking embarrassment. It wasn't but a couple of weeks ago that it was reported that little girls were banging the UN peace keepers in the Congo in exchange for eggs and a couple of bucks. Good job UN.
