Thats funny my father said about his thompson. He was a Sargent, fought in the Battle of the Buldge or like he told me last time I talked to him. His platoon got the hell out there when the saw the tanks coming through the woods. But he was saying the thompson was no good so he went with the M1 also. I showed the game medal of honor and went online and I played a game while he watched. He was not impressed he wondered what was up with all the differnt uniforms. and when he saw a couple of people dancing in the middle of a street trying to kill each other with machine guns. His comment was and I quote"I we would have been standing that close to fight in the war, we wouldn't need guns we'd need boxing gloves." He's turn 83 this year, the sad thing is he has only started sharing his war memories with us in the last couple of years. He did some things that in the war that it took him all this time to come to grips with.
