It was a bit brutal, but once you cross a police line and get involved in a scuffle with a bunch of riot police, wtf do you expect. The bottom line is that every year these assholes come to town looking for trouble. They think that being arrested is a badge of honor and many of them try unsuccessfully to incite police. I don't feel sorry for the ones that succeed in pissing off the cops. That being said, I can't imagine that the cop was not disciplined. He obviously got a little out of control.
