well im basically saying for you to prove your exmaple...i could of said a unicorn came and pierced its horn through my leg...that may cause it, but i can't prove it

but im refering to a blunt object such as a baton

how can the baton kill me in the leg from one shot?

I can prove scientifically accounts of blunt trauma to the head causing death...but to the leg?
