I wasn't there nor do i know the layout or weapon details but....ya think after hearing a single shot the officers would've seeked cover?
Like i said, hard to comment without knowing details. I'm sure the officers did what they were trained to do but somehow the bad guy(s) had the edge. |

He easily could have been a trained woodsman/ hunter etc. and finding cover in a forest in the winter is extremely hard. considering the foileage is dead, and white snow covers the ground.
