You're kidding right? Should I send you some links to articles that tell stories about every day acts of uncommon valor in today's military?
Its my belief that thrown in an emotional situation like combat, people do things like that, I would, you would. Maybe I worded poorly, I guess that still counts as courageous, I just dont consider it out of the ordinary by any means.
I doubt any of us could tell how we would deal with anything under those circumstances until we're put in them. Not everyone can act well under pressure....Especially in a life or death situation.

It sounds to me that you believe it's not uncommon for a soldier to go above and beyond the call...?
