Our summers are like Late October til April, so we get massive holidays off.....

I usually go away with mates a couple of times to beach towns during the summer period....Usually in December-January, over New Years, etc.

New Years Eve is huge down here....Every youth I know leaves the cities for small beach towns along the coasts, usually for a bach (beach house) or a campsite.....Huge parties, liquor everywhere, it's crazy during the weeks surrounding the night.
