It's my understanding that there is a decent percentage of Irish that want to remain under British rule. I dunno.....Gerv? Is that right? If so, there is absolutely no comparison, infact, even despite that there is no comparison. Iraq = Invaded looking for WMDs. Ireland, centuries old land conflict, with two valid sides.

That's all good and true, but I'm not the one criticising the American government. You, however, feel the need too look over something YOU know nothing about, not the other way around.
I mean, just as there are plenty of things you don't understand about the monarchy, there are plenty I don't understand about the American government. Thing is, I'm not critiquing the american government, and insulting its existence. Like a bunch of you were towards the commonwealth's choice to have a royal family.

You're dellusional if you think it's easy living life as a royal. Their life is non-stop media-bait, do you think its fun to be poked fun at by the media, for the world to see? They do alot of PR work, they don't just sit down all day taking shits in golden toilets. While I agree that todays royal family is a bit oOo: ...The current queen is the same queen that stood by the people, helping boost morale during the Blitz, when england and her commonwealth stood alone in the face of facism.
That is something worth having around in times of need.
It's really none of your business how the monarchy is run, because you're not in the commonwealth. That's what I was getting at when I said you didn't understand.....
I mean, I don't go around pissing on American flags - because I understand that people have risked life and limb for it. It's not my place anyway, because I'm not American. It has nothing to do with me.
You're just playing into the stereotype of loud-mouth, ignorant americans when you act like that.
