Better safe than dead.

Banning guns wouldn't do anything. Blame it on media hype all you want, but living in Southern California I know the kind of shit that goes on here. I'd rather have my guns (that I collect as a hobby, which conveniently work well in shooting people) instead of running to the back of the house and calling the cops every time I hear a noise outside.

Besides, it's not like the world is underpopulated.
