A 4000+ is overkill for gaming. A well cooled and overclocked 3200 is more than
enough: the idea is to get a very good videocard so don't cheap out. While it IS
performant, the 9800 will have difficulties with many upcoming games at higher
resolutions. Get an x800 and 1GB of quality RAM. Everything else is accessory...

This goes without saying, but don't cheap out on the mainboard: get something
good. Remember, it's the most critical part ;-)
