Ok. So you can make a gun that makes no sound. You can make a gun that doesn't involve gunpowder and can produce the equivilant firepower of an entire army...

..but you can't make a car with no gas?
..but can't beat the common cold?
..but can't get out of the solar system?
..but can't make a cheeseburger with no saturated fat?
