For abs the best I've come across is a simple exercise where you lay like you are going to do sit-ups, but put you arms straight into the air and pick your shoulders off the floor and hold for 15-30 seconds. If you are doing it correctly, it will be VERY hard to hold it for longer than 20 seconds. Rest for 30 seconds and do it again. At the end of like 10 of those, your abs should feel very worked out and weak. Thats what you want, building muscle is all about making tiny tears in the muscles which are rebuilt, if you are not soar afterwords, you didnt make those tears and you wont build any muscle.
