I agree, it's a real pain to have several PK3's all with thier own version of the same exact file. I even had one map awhile ago that reset my brightness, mouse speed, and MP models!

Unfortunately the post got lost in the last move, but one of the 2015 guys said that any file that starts with "localization" will be loaded, like "localization_mymap.txt".
