Fact of the matter is this, even on xb live people develop cheats, ive seen videos of rtcw going completly batshit on xbl with super speed players super high jumping and all this other mad shit. I don;t think these days a game exists that won't need a patch especially when it has a multiplayer component. When you think about it virtually every game needs patched before its released, just usually the patches follow later when the developers figure out how exactly the hacks are working and try to work around them.
