that was becuz the smart dude(the one that becomes a scientist) showed them where to shoot ...it was like a commercial and he had a bug behind bars...[/quote:d9fc4]
But they weren't even aiming. During the "Omaha Beach" scene they just fired a few random shots and the bugs would fall apart like they were getting shot with 50cals. In the beginning the bullets would put little holes in te bug armor but later a single shot could take off one of their "arms".
