If that was true then their would be no difference between 6800U SLI and 7800GTX SLI which is almost twice as fast in some things. |
More pipelines, faster core and memory speed, its like maxing out a cpu then putting a newer card into the same system, your fps will go up some because of the higher clocks and newer tech on the new card.
