Yeah sin - you may want to hold out a bit. the new amd 2600 are coming out soon and they have comeout with the new kt400 motherboard chipset (w/8xagp slot - nice for video upgrading later). I am slowly collecting periperals - floppy, case, fans, new burner, etc., and I am going to build my first computer soon (got a bonus check coming). With the new chipset and processor coming out for amd, the last generation stuff will drop in price pretty good soon after.

Intel is good stuff, but for gaming, you just cant beat amd's price for performance.
