DC picked up the book and published the work. Alan Moore is really good at this type of story telling. 1984-esque stuff... As far as it translating to the big screen who the fuck knows....solid cast though so i doubt we will see a League of X Gent type debacle although that movie was sort of fun to watch....

As I alwasy say read the fucking comic as that is the true medium Alan Moore's work shines in....

Ill actually crawl out of my hole to see this on the big screen.

Machette check out Bryan Talbot's Heart or Empire series along with Luther Arkwright series, both published by Dark Horse comics.

Really good stuff...Also check out the first 20 or so issues of Warren Ellis' Planetary and Authority series...both good series with a pulp dystopian feel....
