Hmmmm - both movies are good for a one-through, but mutliple viewings. . .nah. I liked them simply because they were over-the-top and done in a surreal manner - especially the chick-fights.

The biggest problem for me is that they are in a way TOO hip for their own good. None of us are super-film-sluts so alot of the homages and stylistic choices arent gonna work for us.

Also - the big showdown. . .like blowing a nut in 15 seconds. BILL vs THE BRIDE reminded me of THE EMPEROR vs MACE WINDU in SITH - for fucking years all this talk about how much of a fucking BAD ASS The Emp is. . .and he turns out to be a fucking pussy. Same way I felt about BILL and THE BRIDE's fight.
