Thats true but the thing is ms took a pretty dumb approach to this, they hyped antialiasing to get rid of jaggies, it does but thats only half the battle. People have had fsaa and aniso on pc's for years now, aniso provides a large increase in graphical quality as well, perhaps more so than fsaa in some circumstances but without the performance hit.
Just seems for the games so far they wree really focusing on the jaggies and forgot about anisotropic filtering. Hopefully people develop games for the system with aniso enabled .
