I've been carrying a firearm since '91 and recently in the past few years, a knife. I don't want to be one of those sorry asses who places their life in some guys hands who decides to rob the eatery you're in. At least this way, i have the upper hand since i'm armed and the thug doesn't know it. The news is filled with victims of violence....i don't plan on being one of them. And just so everyone here understands, it's my 2nd Amendment right to bear arms an an American citizen. |
but why? so you can be the hero? so you can possibly start a shootout risking others lives because you thought you should do the right thing simply because you're armed? it doesn't make sense to me. maybe in stackem's case but that's all, and even then i don't really approve. if anything i only see it as a safety blanket, it just makes you feel safe and powerful but when it comes time to use it it's just going to escalade things and people will get hurt. if you really want to do your part, go to police academy or something.
