Start -> Run -> type in: Regedit
Find the

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\.avi\shel lex\PropertyHandler\

directory and delete the "DEFAULT" key ! ... Voila ! ... Explorer.exe runs at 0-1% on idling !
