i dont know the history behind it, but ill take your word that you do.

im still left wondering how one would benifit by contriving such a tale. Especially in a time where following anyone other than your countries leaders would result in your own death. Obviously, it wasnt safe to profess your faith at the time of christs death, and im pretty sure that christians were persecuted for years to come after his death. So, why would you commit to paper something that you knew would result in your own death until you felt safe to do so? Again, im not a bible scholar, but im pretty sure there are other authors besides peter who had some knowledge, and written about, such a person.

Also, this information has been around for what, more than a thousand years? Doesnt it seem logical that by now someone would have definitively proven that there wasnt such a man?
There were the 12 Apostles, and I think all but Judas(mwah) wrote books used in the bible. To me personally, I dont really care what color his skin was, or his hair or eyes. But this from the article really bothered me:

He thinks we think of Jesus as tne perfect aryan, whereas most portrayals of him are dark hair ans brown eyes. rolleyes:

And there is proof that Jesus existed. There has got to be, for instance, a record of his crucificion, the romans kept records of that stuff. Also, even Jews and Muslims recognize his existance, but not his devine purpose or origin.
