Milla, you definately can't do much with a 5 gallon tank. The smaller the tank, the harder it is to maintain. I currently have a 75 gallon tank (Wish i went bigger...like 125 gallons) but it isn't set up at the moment. I'm lying down a wood flood in the area where i'm setting up the tank. I'm going with African Cichlids in mine. I'm also going with a natural enviorment with heavy vegitation. These fish need places to hide. I had a 20 gallon for years with the same type of set up and it worked out ok.
