I did yard work and had a paper route. My first real job was at Henry's Hamburgers. I made .85¢ per hour flipping burgers. Hamburgers were a dime and cheeseburgers were .15¢. On the 2nd Friday of the month hamburgers were 20 for a dollar. It was good money for a 15 year old kid in 1970.
