Then this is not a job. It is a "hobby with poor benefits". One of my professors does 3D modeling for medical purposes and pulls in 3000 $ for a weeks worth of work. THAT is a job.

(Medical related crap makes up 80 % + of the 3D industry by the way.. SOMETHING you may want to look into.)
