Why would one hover above a toilet seat? Yes, toilet seats have germs on them and you might get sick if you have an open wound that makes contact with the seat, or you rub your hands on the seat and proceed to give yourself an oral exam, however the likelihood of getting a disease from a toilet seat is slim to none.

Edit: You have a better chance of catching something from these retarded devices then just sitting over a bowl.
