Shift+ Delete the files you want gone, close outlook. then go into to your user profile on your computer > Local Settings > Applicatin Data > Microsoft > Outlook (you'll probably have to go to Tools > Folder Options > View > Show all hidden files to view some of these folders) and delete anything that says archieve and any old pst files, just go to view > details to see the dates. once this is done, restart outlook to lock in the current outlook settings and for it to overwrite old data on the currently used pst file
