Just got back with a late night drink with my team. They are all afraid that I'm going to quit cause I am so was so mad at them today. I got off with a verbal warning for closing a ticket without 100% confirmation that the issue was resolved - which I admit I am guilty of, though i don't see how that warrants an official verbal warning. I also got a stupid lecture from our VP on the ethics of customer relations. Even though there are literally dozens of network engineers in IT and network that were enlisted to help us with the migration, only two people maintain and provide service for the entire population of cell phone and bberry users. That would be me and my partner. We can't keep tickets open all week long let alone for retards who don't follow up and call us back. I'm kinda dissapointed in my supervisor cause I don't think she stood up for me adequately, but whatev, at least I didn't get fired. If that salesman ever has a case again, I'm just going to have someone else handle it. Better yet, when he doesn't pay his cingular bill on time (which they almost never do) I will give them the ok to suspend his account and so I will have to send a past due email to him and his boss.
Thx for the tips, I cleared out a lot of shit for no reason, but it will come in handy someday.
