Mario games were original. Look at all the ones that came out lots of different obj etc.

Sonic games were

pushing forward run fast, turn into a ball, collect rings, run into an enemy bop up flashing 10 feet in the air while your shit goes flying everywhere. Fucks sakes get a wallet or a back pack sonic.
