Yeah, I actually hope you get to play as the Germans, but considering the storyline will revolve around an invasion of the U.S., that's highly doubtful.

I think it will be interesting to see where they go with this storyline. Just because it's not history doesn't mean it's crap. You read books like Lord of the Rings. That's not history, but yet that is a work of genius and this is crap? I don't understand the logic.
